The #colour_collective prompt this week was lava, so here are my snails living in a lava-colored castle and dining on their favorite marsh grass & moat slime. Big thanks to Patricia Keeler  and Aram Kim for photoshop pointers 💛 …and I have to keep trying and experimenting!

I love #colour_collective, a weekly drawing prompt on Twitter. It has really helped me to rethink my older work. The color this week was #lilacGrey and I thought about an old character of mine named Pompeius von Planta who I sketched about 5 years ago:

Hmmm. Hard to do this because I like the older one better. At least right now 🙂
